Stryber is a leading strategic venture builder and helps corporates around the globe to build impactful startup portfolios. They see it as their direct responsibility to do this sustainably. For Stryber, reducing the footprint of its internal operations is the absolute baseline of its journey to becoming a sustainable venture builder and showcasing its example to its clients.

“We have been working with Plan A since January 2022 and we have been extremely impressed with their work, vision, and scientific rigour. As we aim to implement a best practice sustainability management, we’ve been able to rely on the Plan A tool to easily and scalably measure our emissions, and are now working on setting SBTi targets and setting a pathway for operational reduction.”

Solution

Using Plan A's carbon accounting software, the venture building company collected data for its operational emissions, including the operations of its three offices (Kyiv, Munich, and Zurich). The analysis provided each emissions scope intensity, per category.

Based on this carbon investigation, Plan A provided a comprehensive action plan to implement carbon reduction measures across the entire organisation. The reduction plan strongly focuses on scope 3 emissions and business travel.

Result

By mitigating and reducing its emissions, Stryber could compensate for its emissions that could not be reduced otherwise. Then, to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030, our sustainability experts defined science-based targets and a roadmap for decarbonisation.

Moving forward, Stryber will report internally and externally on its sustainability journey.
